Meet our 3D Storage Systems Team

We know our customer’s needs and appreciate the service a local distributor can provide. For those distributors who are looking for turnkey solutions, our 3D team can provide suitable pushback rackingpallet flow rack, or carton flow rack components.

Kevin Minkhorst

President

Kevin was one of the original founders of 3D Storage Systems, which was first incorporated in 1992. His previous background in territory sales for a major racking firm gave him a good understanding of what our dealers needed in the way of support. Kevin was Vice President of Sales until 2008 at which time he took on the role of President.

Mike Scott

Vice President – Manufacturing

Mike started out as 3D’s first employee and has been focused on production from the beginning.  He became a shareholder and co-owner in 1999.  In 2003 he helped design our new purpose built 50,000 square foot facility and he took over as production manager in 2006.  With the introduction of state of the art welding robots, including ones with over 20’ travel, Mike has ensured that we maintain quality while increasing our production capacity.

Mike Inger

Vice President – Sales

Mike came to work at 3D in 2007 after completing a college diploma in Sales and Marketing. As he built his knowledge and skill set, he transitioned from inside sales and design, to outside sales and then to his present position managing sales of our pushback, pallet flow and carton flow products for all markets.  In 2020, we further recognized Mike’s contributions to 3D by adding him to the ownership team.

Alicia Katsavos

Vice President – Finance

Alicia has been involved in accounting since 2003 and started her own independent bookkeeping firm in 2006.  In 2012 she contracted with 3D on a part time basis and joined us full time in 2018. In 2020 she became part of the ownership team and now looks after all aspects of accounting and administration within our organization.

Tushar Karanwal

Technical Sales & Design

Tushar graduated from Ontario Tech University with a degree in mechanical engineering and joined 3D right after in 2016. His role involved inside sales and design. He left 3D for a time to broaden his experience working for a conveyor company, a rack manufacturer and a bulk material handling firm before returning to 3D in 2022. Now a member of our ownership group, Tushar’s responsibilities include Sales, Design, Social Media, IT and Process Improvement.

Vanessa Woolley

After earning her Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Accounting from Seneca Polytechnic in 2021 and completing a local accounting firm internship, Vanessa built her experience in the accounting department of a leading Canadian veterinary network. She joined 3D as our Accounting Manager in 2024. In this role, she is responsible for all core accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, and GL management, as well as producing monthly reports and actively working to streamline internal accounting processes.

Alex Filippov

Lead Production Designer

Alex has worked for 3D for over a decade.  He came to us with a background in Automotive Engineering and has worked with three dimensional drawings his entire career.  He has taken our existing production drawings of pushback, pallet flow and carton flow and converted them all to Solidworks.  These drawings give us great visuals for our customers as well as clear, concise models for the fabrication team.

Edward Tong

Production Designer

After earning his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University in 2020, Edward Tong gained experience as a Manufacturing Engineer and Mechanical Designer, developing equipment designs, generating technical drawings, and leading project management for end-of-line automotive testing systems. He joined 3D Storage Systems in 2025 as our Production Designer, where he is responsible for creating production drawings for our product line, coordinating with vendors to ensure system integration, and project management. Edward is proficient in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and GD&T.
